Today
Rail
Cranbourne Station on the Cranbourne line — direct services to Melbourne CBD via Dandenong.
Freeway
Monash Freeway (M1) into the city via the Thompsons Rd corridor and EastLink; South Gippsland Highway for regional trips.
Arterials
Berwick-Cranbourne Rd runs north-south along the precinct; Thompsons Rd forms the northern frame — both carrying ongoing state upgrades.
Bus
Local bus routes serve Cranbourne, Berwick and Clyde-area neighbourhoods, with more routes anticipated as the community grows.
Walk & Ride
The PSP sets a distributed path network — on-road and off-road — connecting neighbourhoods to schools, parks and centres.
Proposed
Clyde rail extension.
A rail extension from Cranbourne to Clyde has been proposed as part of the south-east growth response. It is currently unfunded — no timeline is guaranteed. We report it as a proposal, not a promise.
Transport upgrades are planned and delivered by state and federal government and can change. Refer to Victoria's Big Build, Department of Transport and Planning and VicRoads for current status.
